Just bought the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge yesterday. After I charged the cellphone for the first time and turned it back on there was this straight.

Do you have speakers next to your tv sometimes the line on your tv will be from your sound to close to your tv also the red line could mean your tv tube is going out there about 300 to replace but i ould check frist on your sound are something close to you tv that is maken the red line in the middle of your tv

this is a malfunction vertical deflection block of your TV-set .please contact the nearest repair shop.do not turn it on until then,please.

I work for a auth LG service center and each time I have had this symptom we had to either change what called the T_CON control board or the Plasma display panel itself. You need to cocntact LG @ 800-253-0000 report your problem and they will find a service center in your area you should have 1 year warranty parts and labor.

if it is a straight thin line from left to right you have a vertical problem time to call service tech

I have worked on projection displays for about 17 years 20years electronic. and this sounds like a vertical deflection amplifier problem. this is if the lines or the rainbow you said that you see are horizantal.

you have an intermittent vertical ic or caps . it will need service sorry usually it's not to expensive werepair these all the time

A repair like this is in the vertical drive/output section of the TV set. It could be a simple capacitor causeing this problem or a combination of the capacitor and the output IC.
