SOURCE: DVD Stuck in TV/DVD Combo

This may not sound technical, but I stuck the end of a paper clip into the opening until I could feel the dvd.....jiggled it a bit, and out it popped while pushing the eject button!!!

SOURCE: my LG multi dvd writer lightscribe tray wont open. the green light is steady. no matter how many times i try to eject the tray ang it wont open. there is dvd+r inside.

use a unfolded paperclip and insert it into a small hole below the disc tray. This is the manual eject port. Stick it straight in and push, a little bit of pressure will be needed.

i had exactly the same problem on a LG-RH278H resp. a Medion MD 81733. I solved it by opening the micoswitches, cleaning the contacts and streching the springs inside the switches a little. The Problem was, that one of the microswitches stayed conductive even when it was off/open.

To change the region code on your LG DP132H-NU DVD/CD player, you will need to follow these steps:

Turn off the DVD/CD player and unplug it from the power outlet.
Press and hold the "Stop" button on the player.
While still holding the "Stop" button, plug the player back in and turn it on.
When the player powers on, the region code will be displayed on the screen.
Use the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons on the player to select the desired region code.
Press the "Enter" button to confirm the new region code.
Turn off the DVD/CD player and unplug it again.
Plug the player back in and turn it on. The new region code should now be in effect.

input source button and what input did you stick the DVD player into was it HDMI1 port cause if it was you would change input source to HDMI1 from DTV input source.
on the tv you have the remote control it has a source button just left of the channel up and down + ch - buttons.

Lg dp132h change the region code

Press setup on your remote and choose the lock symbol. Then go to area code and right click arrow on remote. Password should come up and put 0000 press ok. You will then be able to change the region for example Great Britain is GB. I've yet to test this out due the fact I don't have a corresponding DVD but if it works for you post your results. I'd love to be able to buy my favorite sci-fi shows no longer in US print.

I purchased a Funai dvd player. I hooked it up to the Seiki flatscreen and get a black and white, unclear picture when playing a dvd. There are no other components. Just the dvd and tv.

Go to the settings of the dvd palyer. In video setting check the Video systems PAL NTSC ETC. Select the one in winch you will get the color.

We have a brand new LG TV with a built in DVD player. We put in a DVD and the message was "No Signal." DVD will not play. I cannot eject it from the player

Hi:
The only way to diagnose this problem is to take the DVD out and inspect the take up rollers designed to take and eject the disc. If you hear sound when try to eject you may have a bad belt or the take up rollers are oxcided causing slipage during ejecting.
