How to force a factory reset on sinotec model stlcd-40k70?

this set is only available on South Africa, whereas we are in North America. It sounds like you need to Hard Reset it, but try this power reset first.

Restore your TV to Factory Default. Go to Settings, Backup & Reset, Select Factory, Clear all data.
