There is some recovery software out there. In my experience, most are terrible for recovering images. Often there will be entire lines of the image that don't get recovered. I've noticed that the more expensive, the better they work. There are some decent ones out there.. so I hear.
There are various sources of image recovery software. Most decent photo stores have some type of recovery software, which usually recovers most, if not all, deleted images. Ask at your local photo shop. Prices will vary, usually on a "per image recovered" basis. There is also software sold on-line, which will check your disk for free, and show you what it can recover. In order to actually recover them, you need to buy the software. I suggest trying the local shops first. Hopefully, all is not all lost! Good luck.
Hey fourthesther, I would first make sure that the images were recovered as jpeg files, and if they weren't you should convert the files to jpeg files. If this isn't the case I would make sure my printer is set to print 4x6 or 3x5 prints. If you have any more specific information on the recovered files I might be able to be of more assistance so just ask me. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
