Y 32inches LG CS410 TV cannot play video from USB hard-drive.
Maybe the video format on the USB is not compatible or supported by your LG TV. Look at you user manual for video formats that are playable via USB on your LG TV. If the video format is not supported you can use a video converter to convert it to one that it supports. You can use Free Video Converter by Freemake to convert your video.

Try reformating the drive with FAT32 file system (this is the default facotry mode).

SOURCE: video playback for toshiba 52xv645u
You can get some external HD Players that have TV out, but quality is not good. Can't you use a laptop with a Video out, or a USB Video Out? Or some DVD players have a USB port, I picked one up the other day for NZ25.00, It plays ALL DVD's and has a USB, so I can play movies from there. Solution or what?
SOURCE: i can not play
What happens when you try to play it? Did you try accessing the USB drive through input and then select Movies? Note that cetain formats such as 3GP will not play. The video file needs to be in AVI or MPEG based formats for the tv to play it.
SOURCE: can i attach an external usb hard drive to a toshiba lcd tv
The usb external hard drive was designed to work with windows operational system giving access to all the files, attaching the hardware would give limited use at best and may not respond.
