SOURCE: need substitute switch part for sears saw

Sorry , but go buy a new saw. Your not going to find an aftermarket
dealer that carries this switch.

Trying to rig some other switch is not worth the trouble over buying a new one. If the switch is not available, then the saw is old.

SOURCE: How can I change the circular saw in my Back &

Unplug it and loosen the bolt in the middle of the blade. It's a standard thread, so turn it lefty-loosey. But you need to hold the blade from turning. That's easy by putting a screwdriver in front of a blade tooth, under the sole plate. Let the sole plate prevent the screwdriver from rising up with the blade as you turn the bolt. If your current blade has small teeth (like a plywood blade) then you can raise the sole plate as for a maximum depth of cut, then push the saw against the front edge of a workbench (or block of wood somehow held still) as if you were going to cut it. Before you remove the bolt, take note of the exact orientation of the washer (or washers)so you can replace them the same way.

SOURCE: Need a replacement switch for

I have worked on many Sears saws and usually use Skil saw parts on them. Take a look at the link below and match the parts with Sears Model 135275400.
http://www.toolpartsdirect.com/cgi-bin/schematic.cgi/skil/HD5510_TYPE_1

I would order part number 2610916185 Skil switch as the replacement /substitute for your switch. If you have a local Dewalt service center neer, you can take a look at the part there before you buy. Use the Skil HD5510 for reference. Good luck on your wood working projects.

Need a power cord for a porter-cable circular saw model 146

All of Porter-Cable's circular saws have model numbers starting with a 3. Assuming your saw is a 346, Porter-Cable's part number for that cord is 330079-98. If your model number isn't 346 or you can't get that part number, most any nine to twelve foot 14-2 power cord will work on your saw.

Circular saw won't turn off

you have a switch problem that needs to be fixed ASAP, you can go to either makitausa.com and type in your model number or to ereplacementparts.com for a replacement switch. If you have a local repair center they usually have them also. MAKE note of the wiring before removing the switch. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Hello i need to know : circular saw need to oiling

the gearcase for this saw is under the blade and you would have to remove the blade and the screws holding the gearcase cover in place. There is a small amount of GREASE in this cavity. If you want to replace the grease use a small amount of white lithium type grease. DO NOT pack this area full or you will cause more damage. Let me know if you need more assistance and if you give me the model and brand I will locate a breakdown for you so that you know what is involved.
