LCD TV has power but no picture or audio

Same model and same problem. The power light first is blue, and then turns orange after a few seconds. Tried various inputs (component from cable box, TV coax, S-video from DVD) no difference. Will not display on-screen menu. Is there a factory reset button on this model? The only reset is on the setup screen, but of course I can't see the setup screen.

One or 2 blown capacitors in the power supply
you will see the dome tops where they vented

Testimonial: "Yep, took TV to Belmont electronics and they repaired the power supply. TV good as new! Thanks Dave. "

47" Philips LCD TV will not stay on and show a picture.

Your mainboard needs to be replaced.

You can get one on ebay and replace it or get someone who can do that for you.

if you still have guarantee, it is covered, if not you will need to buy it.

My tv won"t turn on.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.
