LCD TV has power but no picture or audio

I think the chip when bad u need to get it to a tv repair shop or if u waranty call the companie the looks like the chip for the imagine

try hiding the remote.the power button may be sticky.

Tv turn on now,does it have a flashes of picture only a few second than dies and than have only sound left?Yes,than the tv 2 long LCD inverter boards are dead.These 2 long LCD inverter boards are one to the left one to the right both must be replace.The 2 long LCD inverter boards job are to help the LCD screen panel to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those 2 LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

I had the same problem after replacing several things and still having same problem, it ended up being a capacitor.

if orange it is on stand by mode ,the cable that you changed is it power cable if yes then you used wrong one it may affect, i think you need to check power supply board . also get other opinion too. good luck

there is a psu fault ...usual some of capacitors r over ...need to swap by profesional

Mainboard damaged.

Your mainboard needs to be replaced.

You can get one on ebay and replace it or get someone who can do that for you.

if you still have guarantee, it is covered, if not you will need to buy it.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.
