Platters come in many sizes and with many different means of being rotated using either "Drive spiders" or "Drive Spigots". Try the manufacturer first or look up on Google or Ebay or Gumtree to see if someone local to you has the same oven up for sale.

SOURCE: Emerson microwave Glass turntable replacement

When I used to repair microwaves I would pick up along the roadside for trash pickup. The Glass turntables would useally be saved by the owner. After they would find they have no use for it they would give it to the Salvation Army or some other thrift store. I have replaced many trays this way for around two to three dollars. You can also buy them from internet electronic stores, but they may sell for as high as 29.00. If you find one at the thrift store check the turning pattern on the bottom of the dish to see if it matches your microwave. There are ony a few differant sizes and types being used. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: broken turntable

The owner's manual is online at:
http://www.emersonradio.com/owners/MWO%20manual/MW8992SB-RD.pdf

You can contact Emerson at their number in the manual for a replacement.

I always suggest that people place food (especially popcorn) off-center on the tray (not in the middle) because the heating is better, plus the extreme heat is not always applied to the same spot in the tray each time.

Food placed in the middle will not cook as evenly.

Good luck, and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

SOURCE: Melted turntable support

Yes, that's part # WB06X10138 (coupler) and you can get it here.

You will need to remove the bottom cover of the microwave and remove the turntable motor to get the new coupler in.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

SOURCE: microwave turntable won't turn

You may have a tunrtable motor or spindle problem..
This info is from GE website..( link : http://genet.geappliances.com/geasearch/Dispatcher?REQUEST=GETSEARCHRESULT

To minimize the possibility of electric shock, unplug this appliance from the power supply before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.

  • Make sure the turntable is centered and seated properly. On models with a stirrer motor there is a shaft protruding up through the floor of the microwave. Make sure the turntable is securely fastened to this shaft. On models that turn on a ring with wheels attached, make sure the turntable is seated securely on the ring.
  • Check the turntable to make sure it is placed right side up. If the turntable plate is upside down it will drag on the floor of the microwave.
  • Check to make sure that there is no food or debris under the "wheels" of the turntable ring. Food can prevent the wheels from moving forward.
  • Be certain you are pressing a cook function rather than a timer function.
  • If the microwave has a turntable on/off feature make sure the turntable was not inadvertently turned off. Try depressing the turntable on/off pad to re-engage the turntable.

My over the stove Sharp Carousel Model # R-1505F turn table stopped turning. What part do I need to replace. Also, I broke the glass turn table plate. What size is that and where can I order another...

Sears Parts Direct has the parts diagrams and many parts for the R-1505 microwave. The glass plate is part 4-3 ($33.99) on this page: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Sharp-Parts/Microwave-Parts/Model-R1505/0958/0123370/50019999/00001?blt=06&prst=&shdMod= .

Without more tests, I can't be completely positive but the turntable motor is the likely problem. That is part 1-4 on the list above. However, it could be a wiring problem with the wiring to the turntable motor.

Partstore.com has many of the parts as well: http://www.partstore.com/Model/Sharp/Sharp/R1505.aspx .

I hope this helps.

Cookworks microwave oven with grill and convection model cmx60 - I need new glass turntable unable to sourced bought from Argus about three years ago please help.

Microwave turntables are in several sizes

Here are a couple of sources for them. What you have to take note of is the wheel tray also. You may get the right size turntable and not fit the wheel tray. Manufacturer is not as important as the size and tray fitting.

This one seems a bit small at 10 inches but as your microwave is only 800 Watts it may just be the correct one :

You may want to call Argospares 0844 55 70 320

or make an inquiry here: http://www.argosspares.co.uk/cgi-bin/pne.pl?brand=Cookworks

Need replacement glass turntable for inside a Galanz microwave, serial number HT0704046995

If you know the size (diameter) of the turntable, it would be much easier just to find another one of the same size rather than finding the exact part as the number matches nothing.

you may find a replacement one from the link below, just look for one with the same dimensions and it should work

let me know if you need anything else

my best to you
