There are several possible reasons why your Sentry Safe MS3817 is not responding to the handle or new batteries. Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:
Check the batteries: Make sure the batteries are properly installed and not depleted. You may also want to try using a different set of batteries to see if the issue is with the batteries themselves.
Check the battery contacts: Make sure the battery contacts are clean and free of any debris. You can clean the contacts with a soft cloth or toothbrush.
Check the handle: Make sure the handle is not damaged or stuck. You may need to apply some lubricant to the handle to loosen it.
Check the lock mechanism: Make sure the lock mechanism is not damaged or stuck. You may need to apply some lubricant to the lock mechanism to loosen it.
If none of these steps help, you may need to have the safe serviced by a professional. As for the factory code, it is recommended to contact Sentry Safe or the retailer where you purchased the safe for assistance. They may be able to provide you with the factory code or help you reset the safe.
The "New Location" fix above brought my GPS 60 back to full HELP NUMBER +1 833 272 0777operation. I did reload the GPS software from Garmin but the recovery depended on well charged batteries and as above: turn the unit on
press MENU button
scroll to "New Location"
wait 10 minutes for the GPS to recover
Does the rest of the TV work fine? If so, the problem is likely with the remote control. Have you replaced the batteries and made sure they are installed correctly? Did batteries recently leak in the remote to where the new batteries may not be making good contact with the metal springs? Has the remote been dropped a lot? If so, a solder joint may be broken for the IR transmitter.
If you have a universal remote that can be programmed to the TV model, that should make it easy to confirm if the issue is the remote or the TV.
try some new batteries not cheap ones, if still you have the same issue try to factory reset it, if you will need more help with your camera download a factory service manual from the below link: http://goo.gl/pVDpD Good Luck
Reset remote. If universal remote, put on dvd mode.
If your remote has a Reset button, take out
the batteries and press the Reset button for 2 or 3 seconds. Re-inset the
batteries and try using the remote again.
Note: Many remotes have a small hole
marked Reset instead of a raised Reset button. To activate the Reset function,
you need to push a thin, rigid wire (for example, a straightened paper
clip) into the hole to "press" the Reset button. Also, the Reset button or Reset hole
may be located under a sliding cover on the lower section of the remote.
Remove the batteries
and hold down the POWER
button for 1 minute. Insert
fresh batteries and try
using the remote control
again.
If this does not solve
your problem, remove the
batteries again and press
and release each button
on the remote control
once, then repeat. Re-insert
the batteries and try
operating your remote again.
Otherwise you need a new remote. If under warranty call manufacture to see about getting one free of charge. They can also help you purchase a new one if not under warranty.
