I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000ES, not spinning your clothes dry. First, if the drum is not spinning at all, I suggest resetting your appliance by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. Once power is restored run a spin only cycle. If it starts spinning and the clothes are still coming out damp, try one of the following:
1)Try changing the spin speed to a higher speed.
2)Make sure that you have not overloaded your washer.
3)Make sure that the wash load is not too small. If you are only washing a couple of items, try adding 1 or 2 similar items to balance the load.
4)Try rearranging the load to allow proper spinning.
5)Check the drain hose for any kinks. If it is kinked, straighten it.
If you are still having trouble with your washer spin drying, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this helps.
Front loading washers are notorious for not spinning the water out of a small load of clothes. This is because there is not enough clothes in the washer to balance the tub during the spin cycle.
Try washing a slightly larger load with a minimum of six items or more. This is one of the downsides to front load models and no specific brand is immune to the problem.
Check to make sure that your clothes are not piled to one side causing the load to be off-balance. If that does'nt fix it then, It may be that your machine has a balance stabilizer on it that has worked its way loose or even off.
This model of washer does not have an out of balance cut off switch. If the load is not balanced properly the tub could hit the cabinet sides. If the unit spins evenly while empty & out of balance while loaded, I recommend checking & balancing the load. If the basket spins out of balance while empty, I recommend having the suspension springs & balance ring checked. Be sure not to wash light fabric with heavy fabric clothes. Also ensure that the adjustable feet are level, that's most important.
Because front load washers are VERY HEAVY, they shake if you have a wooden floor. If your front loader sits on concrete and it still shakes, then you have to make sure all is balanced. If it still shakes, then inside the system there are shock absorbers that need to be checked.
I think I had same problem.. It was because my load was very unbalanced.. I had a hevy item with a few small items inside..
These front load washers have sensors for the weight balance.. If it is to heavy in one spot - it wont spin...
