1. Turn the product off.

- LCD control panel models: Simultaneously press and hold the right arrow button and the Cancel button. Keep these buttons depressed as you turn the product on.

I recently bought ASUS U31F and i am having issues with @ function on keyboard. If i try to get @ working on numberpad on top using shift function system is returning " sign and if i press " sign...

Go to the control panel and look for the Region and Language option. Make sure the options on the Formats tab correspond to your location. Then go to the Keyboards and Languages tab and click the Change keyboards button. If a keyboard for your location and language is not shown, click Add and add it to the list. Remove any other keyboards that are shown that you do not use.
The problem is caused by Windows thinking you are using an American keyboard in the UK or the other way around. Changing the Region and Language options above should fix the problem.

I am having problem with the sound. All of a sudden there is no voice. I tried to up the volume but the black lines turn to yellow and still no sound. What can I do?

You didn't give a model so you'll need to select it from the selection below.

I presume you checked that the mute box is not ticked beside the volume settings.

The most likely cause is that the voice file is either corrupted or has become unselected. To solve this problem;
To select or change the voice language on a nuvi 200/205/500/700/705/800/805/1200/1300/1400/1600/5000 series or zumo 600 series device:
  1. Touch the Tool icon
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch Language
  4. Touch Voice
  5. Touch the Voice Language you would like to use
  6. Touch 'Ok'
  7. Touch and hold the Back button to return to the main "Where To" and "View Map" menu
At this time your device should speak in the language you have set in step 5.
To select or change the voice language on a nuvi 300/600 or zumo 400/500 series device:
  1. Touch the Tool icon
  2. Touch Locale
  3. Touch Voice
  4. Touch the Voice Language you would like to use
  5. Touch 'Ok'

At this time your device should speak in the language you have set in step 5.

If the voice file is corrupted you'll need to download it from www.garmin.com First connect your satnav to your computer, download the latest version of webupdater from http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27 and install it on your computer. When it's installed it will search for updates for your satnav. After software has been updated it will give you a list of voices you can download. Select the ones you want by clicking on them. Click next and they will be downloaded to your satnav. When they're downloaded you'll need to repeat the instructions in para 1 above to select one on your satnav.

There is no english language in choice of languages. only dutch german and italian, Manual has english instructions, but setup only has dutch german and italian

There is a problem in the installation CD. You have to download the english version driver+software from the manufacturer's web site.

Tom tom 130S will not speak street names

As far as I can tell the Tom tom 130S only speaks the street names when you use the computer voice (female, Amanda) and not any of the other voices.

CHANGING PRINTER CONTROL PANEL LANGUAGE

Hi,

See solution below:

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press 'select' and turn on the printer. (select button should be pressed while turning it on)
3. press '-value+' to choose your language
4. press 'select' to save
5. press 'go' to return to ready mode.

I think you operating system is using a language u cannot understand, So reinstall with windowsXP or Vista English version.

Change language

Follow these steps to resolve the issue.

1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold the Cancel and Color Copy buttons simultaneously on the control panel.(My color button was the green button)
3. While still pressing the buttons, reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
4. Continue pressing the buttons until the display goes blank or Reset shows on the control panel display.
5. If the product automatically turns off, turn it on.
6. When prompted, select the correct language and country/region, and then press the OK button. Press the OK button again to confirm the selection.

NOTE: Some products might have a promotional sticker on the control panel display. Make sure that any stickers are removed from the control panel display before troubleshooting this issue.

If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.

Wont recieve fax

NVRAM init NVRAM init returns all stored parameters in NVRAM to factory default values or to a default ROM value, depending on the variable, and performs a system reset. Performing NVRAM init can cause the product to violate local telephone regulations. Reset the language and country/region after performing NVRAM init. ENWW Service-mode functions 265 NVRAM init resets the following settings and information: ● All menu settings are reset to factory default values, including fax header and company name. ● Factory settings such as formatter number, page counts, and factory paper settings are reset. ● All faxes in memory are erased. ● All speed-dials, group-dials, and phone book entries are erased. ● All localization settings, including language and country/region, are reset. To perform NVRAM init 1. Turn off the product. 2. Press and hold down the * and MENU/ENTER buttons. 3. Continue to hold down the buttons while you turn on the product. Hold the buttons through the entire power-on sequence. 4. When Permanent Storage Init. appears on the control-panel display, release the buttons. 5. When the message Language appears on the control-panel display, set the correct language and country/region. 6. Allow the product to return to Ready before using the product.
