I TURNED THE CONTROL TO OFF TO DEFROST MY FREEZER. WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON THERE IT DOESN'T COME BACK ON AND THERE IS A LOUD BUZZER.
IS THERE A RESET BUTTON SOMEWHERE TO RESET THIS OR HOW CAN I GET IT TO COME BACK ON? I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND OF COURSE I CAN'T FIND MY USERS MANUAL. IT IS A 1994 MODEL FB14 DSDRWPT.

Sounds like the relay contacts are staying open.

It appears that the thermostat is not working properly and is taking much too long to turn back on after it disconnects power to the compressor. There is no relay in that unit but maybe a start capacitor on motor that might be checked out also.
