I have no screen pictures or sound.
It is not possible to assess the extent of damage without examination of the unit. That screen as well as audio functions are inoperative does not bode well. However, it can scarcely hurt to take a stab at the matter. --Well, it won't hurt unless you don't know how to keep from voltage going through you rather than the player. The following links gives you an idea of some of the information available. You can even find links which suggest using superglue to plug out a broken plug. (I doubt that.) As is, it is unclear whether or not your unit is portable. It is usually helpful to search for such information by including brand and model in a search. I suspect you are better off getting another player, however.

No, I wouldn't say it's worth fixing, as the panel could have a burnt out backlight, or even circuitry issues. This could cost around 100-150 bucks to fix, or you can buy a new one for around 80. So, I would say, just buy a new one.
SOURCE: cant find headphone socket for rosen in-car dvd player
As far as i know, all Rosen in-car dvd players come with IR (infra-red) headphones so the sound is transmitted that way rather than using a lead from the headphones to the unit, therfore no sockets are neccessary!
Hope this helps....
SOURCE: The speakers stopped working. Only very faint
It may need to be repaired, It sounds like one of the internal speaker wires has come off. If under warranty then take it back to the seller if not than any television repairer should be able to help you
SOURCE: my headphone jack broke inside of laptop how to
you can push out the broken socket , by only dismandliing the complete laptop only. there will be several no of screws at the bottom of the lap top , have to remove those screws one by one then only you can open completely , if you push the socket from inner side of the lap top the socket will come out , thank you try it you will get solved.
SOURCE: portable dvd player dropped now has sound and faint picture
I usually prefer to fix things but here unless this is a very expensive unit let it go, it did enough damage to cause image issues and a screen hinge broken, if it can be repaired it will always be prone to some collateral issues that may show up later, like a small car in a accident, no matter how good the repair place is it will never be quite the same.
