Hi, it would be best if you can fully charge the batteries then disconnect them completely from the scooter, just by unplugging them or removing the battery box.

if the batteries are left connected slowly they will drain and the voltage will drop to a level that the charger will not charge them anymore .

How do I winterize a mobility scooter

If you are storing it over winter. I would charge the batteries and disconnect them. Check them periodically and charge once a month until the warm stuff comes around. It can sometimes be better to take the batteries indoors as extreme cold or heat can adversely affect your battery life and performance. If you intend to use it through winter, just keep it dry, warm (if possible) and lengthen your normal charging regime (around 10-14 hours overnight should do it) You can get any number of waterproof dashboard covers and things that keep moisture out of the sensitive parts. It is also worth getting a full lubrication and service from a reputable local dealer.

How do I get my 150 cc roketa scooter to start after sitting all winter

At the least drain the fuel in the carburetor, I think there is a drain line and plug for this specific purpose.

Razor e200

Hi, check all the connections are clean. It could be the charger is done but some batteries when they get left for a long period without charge they won't take a charge any more. Disconnect from power supply before attempting any inspection. Check the wheels are turning freely and not binding. Then last of all the motor may have to be checked.

Kymco midi foru, less than 6 months old batteries will not charge.

This will be due to the batteries being left uncharged for a long period of time. Should ideally be charged once a fortnight for at least 12 hours if the scooter is not used for any period of time. Unfortunately, the only real solution is new batteries.
