How to fix your Kindle fire doesn turn on

Try again. Make sure Kindle is charged. Hold down the on button until you see the fire logo. This usually works.

This works for many frozen apps. Use the on button to turn Kindle off. Then wait a few seconds and turn it back on and hold for about 30 seconds until you see the kindle fire logo. Your app should open.

Check the Kindle help page and see of there are any options. There may be a way to do a hard reset which could fix the problem. I've had phones with this issue.

Contact the School district IT department and have them fix it remotely.

Have you tried using a different power cord. We have gone through 2. Grandkids.....!
