SOURCE: My whrilpool duet washer is

I found that my washer would not drain which is why I was getting the F02 code. I first pulled the strainer to see if it was plugged and it wasn't. I turned the little impeller to the right of the housing and it was free moving but it moved in and out as well as turned. That made me curious. I then to a shop vac and pulled on the drain hose at the wall hook up. It pulled and I could put my hand inside the strainer housing and felt the suction.

This led me to my last tought which was to pull the pump off the strainer housing. It only took three screws and when I pulled it I saw the impeller. When I pulled pack on the impeller it cam right out of the motor and I could see the end of the shaft had sheared and the grinding sound I heard was the shaft ends grinding and it was not able to move any water from the basin.

Im now looking for a new pump cause Im sure its one unit. So far they are over $100 for the complete housing and pump. Im hoping I can just find the pump.

SOURCE: whirlpool duet FH code

its possible you have the correct number, but yes the FH is a "no waterdetected" fault, are you sure you rehooked all wires in the rightt location and in the right position(it possible to put a harnes sin the wrong slot or even upside down, the only 2 CCU's out there for this model and of you had the wrong one you would get wrong cycle selections, not anything to do with the intake waster, i would really recheck your connections

SOURCE: whirlpool washer CCU replacement

Hello, the F-11 means "Serial Communication Error" that is communication between the central control unit (CCU) and the motor control unit(MCU) cannot be sent correctly. Check the following:
1. Check wire connector to the MCU, the motor and the central control unit(CCU).
2. Check the drive system for any worm or failed component.
3. Check MCU.
4. Check CCU
5. Check motor
6. Check wire harness

Thanks

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet Sport f-01 even after replacing CCU

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

http://media.fotki.com/1_p,wkwdftgtbkdgfrwxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/ksrttqdqrxkssrqtgsd/1/1303472/5961857/image12917img-or.jpg

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

Hi. Got some info about the FH error from Whirlool service manual.

F/H

No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.

In my experience the CCU is the problem (control board).

IF the machine has water! If not, check water valve, hose, water tap.

Do it overfill? If thats the case, the pressure switch is gone, its hose has a leak.

Hope this helps you

Code F1, does not stop filling, water pours out of soap tray

Are you sure it's not an F/H error?

The F/H code means the unit isn't detecting water fill at the flowmeter. The flowmeter sits just in front of the inlet valve and is attached via a hose, and off to the left of the CCU. Part link to the flow meter==> http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Flowmeter/1381535?modelNumber=GHW9250MW2
If your washer is filling ok, check the wiring from the flow meter to the control board; I've seen this harness jiggle loose and cause problems.

No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.

Or

If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • If there is no water in the unit:
1.Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
2.Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
    3.Verify inlet valve operation
  • If there is water in the unit:
    1.Verify Drain pump operation
2.Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
  • Verify there is not a siphon problem
  • Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check all hoses for possible leaks
  • Verify pressure switch operation
  • Verify flow meter operation
  • Verify CCU operation.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Washing then it beeps and H and F flash, washing machine stops and only the flashing H and F appears..............

The FH code on the Whirlpool Duet washers indicates that the unit is not detecting water fill at the flowmeter. The flowmeter sits right in front of the water inlet valve and is attached via a hose and is off to the left side of the central control unit (ccu). If the washer seems to be filling alright, check out the wiring from the flowmeter to the control unit. Make sure all connections are clean and tight. These connections have been known to jiggle loose and cause this error code. Sure hope this helped and best wishes.
