Sounds like the tach connection has been loosened or slipped out of position. Here is a link for installation manuals, Will help in location and inspection of tach wire.

Actually the first solution may or may not be true. If whomever installed the remote starter "locked" the programming with a bitwriter, then you will need to take it back to someone with a bitwriter to unlock and change the setting. If it was not locked then you can change run times for that model yourself. You have choices of 12, 24 or 60 minutes. 12 is the factory setting (with a bitwriter you can choose in one minute increments). If your system is unlocked this is how you can change the runtime setting. It's a bit of a pain so you might want to write it down. There should be a small programming button attached to wires coming from the "brain". First, locate that button. 1. Turn ignition key on then back off. 2. Quickly push and HOLD the programming button. If the horn was hooked up to the remote start system, it should honk once. (If it wasn't you'll have to look for a small led status light on the brain that should flash once) To change runtime, keep holding the button down till the horn honks twice (or the led flashes twice). 3. Release button after horn honks twice (or led flashes twice.) You are now in menu two where runtime is set. 4. Within 10 seconds, press and release the programming button two times. Now push and HOLD the programming button. You are now on feature two of menu two (runtime options). While still holding the programming button in, press the remote start button on the fob the number of times that corresponds with the run time you want. once = 12 minutes, twice = 24 minutes and three times equals 60 minutes. After selection has been made release programming button. The programming sequence will be cancelled if any of the following occur: Ignition is turned on or programming button is pressed too many times or more than 25 seconds elapses between steps. Like I said, it is a pain to do manually and there is a possibility you could mess up other settings if you get it wrong. But this is what the install manual states if you want to give it a go. Good luck!
