It sounds like the main internal power supply has gone south. Your best bet would be to take it into a TV repair shop and determine if it would be an inexpensive repair. Usually repairs on the newer TV's can run higher then replacing the TV with a newer model.

SOURCE: Plasma TV-power light does not come on

Hello!

most probably the fuse inside the circuit blown out, You should open the back of the tv to become circuit board visible. But this hard when novice do it.

To be sure that everything will be alright i would rather suggest you to bring the tv to the nearest service center. maybe warranty work for that.

best regards,melnavz

SOURCE: Can't turn on from Stanby mode

I would assume the power board has a problem. A tech could possibly repair it without replacing the whole board.

SOURCE: Remote control not responding to tv

You need to program the remote to work with the TV. And I hate to point you this way, but I've looked around for the manual on this remote, and can't find it, so, go to the Toshiba website and email Customer service that you have lost your manual for the remote. See if they will email you one. I bet they will.

SOURCE: Blinking yellow light ,no picture or sound.

You have done all you can do. If you had a power outage, when the power came back on a it surged and probably caused a Power Supply problem or something in the micro controller to fail. Either way it 's not good. I would call Toshiba and let them guide you to a Service Facility that can check it out. Depending on your Homeowners Insurance, repairs could be coverd or unit be replaced depending on cost to repair.
Sorry I am not able to help further,

SOURCE: garage door opener will not respond to security plus remotes

Reset the Liftmaster unit. There should be a red reset button on the unit in the garage. If this does not work, reset the breaker. Good Luck!

I am assuming you mean it will not power on.
I suspect a faulty power board. Cost to have repaired can range from $145.00-$300.00.

Sound doesn't work in HDMI mode, just picture. I tried buying a new HDMI cord but that didn't work either. Then one night the TV just turned off and now it won't turn back on.

Likely not related but HDMI does not like being connected if either unit is plugged in or powered up.

As to the TV let me know the brand and model number and what if any lights at all come on when you plug it in etc.
