Question about Mitsubishi WS-65908 TV

1 Answer

Mitsubishi Diamond TV power went out TV wont turn back on.

I have a Mitsubishi Diamond TV. Last night the power went out and now the TV wont turn on. When the power went out the TV was off. I have tried unplugging and reseting the TV several time to no avail. When I rest or plug the TV in, the green timer light flashes for 40-45 seconds then stops. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance!!!

MITSUBISHI WS55907 Diamond 1080 TV bought in 2000 was powered off, unplugged, for a year. Turned the set on with remote last night and worked fine, had very crisp picture.

Your TV was waiting between 2000 and now to suffer power supply failure. It is very frustrating to go from everything working perfectly to nothing.

Power went out last night and now the tv time button is blinking and tv wont turn on

thats caused by failed caps on the DM power board. When the power is lost the caps discharge and then cany recharge when the power is restored. The WS55859 dm repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com is the correct kit for that symptom the kit contains the caps and the CD with instructions for the repair.

if ure handy pop the back off and there should be a main power board and a fuse on it, make sure you use the same fuse if it is blown do not stick another type or size in it, put it back together and turn it on if it blows again it will be somthing else if not it should work
