yes everyone is in the same position, it aint just u in this world with no ps3 at this moment in time, just wait. dnt be inpatiant, god people these days
Have you tried to go back to world 6, and beating the mission that leads you to the cannon and completing it the correct way? In other words, find the other route to the end and get to the flag that is black, not red.
What you have to do is defeat the world 5 final boss in the final castle of world five, while being mini mario. after you beat the world five boss mini, you will fall into a crack that will lead you to wold 7
It's hard to do so but try beating petty piranna then apllying the mini mushroom at the last moment. You could also try beating him as mini mario.
If you want to store a mini mushroom in your inventory you can try to getting the one from world 1
You can, it involves a lot of leads but its easy and fairly cheap to do. Firstly, buy a video lead for your PS2 that has stereo audio out (in the uk, you can find them at GAME at the moment). This should give you the red and white connections needed to take the stereo signal from the console.
Then, buy a lead that converts the two white and red stereo leads into one 3.5mm stereo jack. I would personally go to Maplins for this.
Connect the 2 inputs from the 3.5mm lead into the outputs on the video lead, then connect the 3.5mm jack into the mic socket of your PC. You can then use a program like Audacity to record the song and convert it to MP3. Then you're set to burn :)
