I believe these are the UL code and serial number. If there is a display band of decorative stitches on the front of your machine look on the bottom right of that panel. If the number there is a VX-920 there is no manual available for it BUT you can use the manual from the VX 970 which IS available. Do a search for that model manual in Spanish and you should find one.

Clean your machine and oil it. It might just be dirty. I have teh same machine. Also, after that, if teh needle is old it may be dull. This machien can get finicky if the needles are not sharp.

Make sure teh pressure knob at teh top was not released.

Pfaff Expresions 3.0. Using my zipper foot with 3 teeth. But can not get the needle to position to sew close to zipper
Um, not sure what presser foot you are using--there are several.

If it is the invisible zipper foot, there is a groove in the bottom of the presser foot that straddles one strip of zipper teeth which positions it close to the needle. Zipper foot #4 snaps to either side to enable the needle to be close to the zipper teeth. The Narrow Adjustable Zipper/Straight Stitch and the Non-Stick Zipper Feet are moveable left or right.

When trying to use the zipper foot the needle will not stay positioned to the side and keeps returning to center hitting the center of the zipper foot and machine stops
set the machine to straight stitching which should keep the needle in the center position
a zipper foot is a normal foot with 1/2 missing

How do you replace a complete zipper and what do you need
Bring your garment to the sewing store. Find a replacement zipper like the one on your garment and make sure the replacement zipper is long enough (ask a clerk for assistance).

Then when you get it home, you will need to carefully remove the broken zipper by cutting the thread stitching that holds the zipper in place. Use a thread nipper or seam ripper but be careful to not cut the fabric. When you get the threads cut, you should be able to remove the broken zipper. Line up the replacement zipper in the open seam, pin in place and stitch.

UL273c just means that the machine meets the standard 273c of Underwriter's Labratory. Use the manufacturers website to see if you can determine the model number which ou will need to know before you can look for a cord.

White 1919 won't sew through heavy duty zipper. Supposed to be heavy duty machine. How can I adjust this?
You should be on straight stitch selection, use size 16 or 18 needle, apply longer stitch length(3-3.5mm), always lower down your needle using your hand wheel first, so as not to burden the motor when you started sewing your material. Hope this can be helpful.
