It might and no harm in trying but generally if something doesn't work as it should there is probably a fault and it is better to ask for help from someone whose job it is - perhaps your internet service provider has a technical hotline and I expect Samsung has...

SOURCE: wifi problem on iphone 2.0

I took phone to a local Apple Store. It worked fine (their network has no WEP, WPA, etc.). But it worked well. Store people told me they were using Airport N/G Access Point.

This was my first evidence that it wasn't just a poorly written WiFi module in the iPhone.

Clearly, not tested on many WiFi devices, but I had a different and newer Access Point, and Airlink101 AP431W. I hooked up the new AP, setup with no encryption, worked fine. Then tried WPA (WEP is not even an option in the newer AP), and it also worked fine.

I can access the Airlink AP431W through walls in the house and up to about 75 feet away. It's on a shelf in the living/dining room (center of activity)

PS: In the process, I checked settings, timings, etc., but nothing fixed the original AP421W problem until I swapped it for the newer AP431W.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: Cannot connect to internet via lan but can connect

first need to know if the LAN has an IPsetup manually (static IP) if it's set static set it to obtain an IP automatic. If it's already set to obtain an IP automatic, try to reset the winsock and see if that will fix the problem, search google how to do that on DOS. if that did nottry to set the LAN card to work on 10mbps or 10 half duplex mode. if this won't work then the lan card might be bad.

SOURCE: I have both my iMac & Samsung Smart TV

There's an adapter that monoprice.com just brought out that I purchased. Works like a charm. It still plugs into the mini display port but it also has a usb connector that you must plug into one of your usb ports on your imac. This allows for the audio to travel over the hdmi with the video. The link is below.

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?cid=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042802&pid=5969&seq=1&format=2

Be aware that once you add the TV as a second screen that it extends your desktop typically to the right of your current one. Just drag an open window to the right and it appears on your TV. The resolution of the TV is probably lower than the mac screen so the extension is a different size. You can move the extension around to the top/bottom/left/right etc.

You can see this in Preferences - displays - arrangement, After you have added your second screen.

If you don't want to extend the desktop but would rather mirror your primary display, this is where you check "mirror displays"

We keep loosing our Audio on Netflix .We recently purchased a new Samsung Smart T V. Some think its the T V Model ? I didn't know U had to ask if the T V was Netflix compatible ?

I just bought a new Samsung Smart TV and they are Netflix compatible. Netflix shows up in the list of things to view along with Amazon, You Tube and the rest of the internet streaming services. I'm using a wired lan connection. If you're using wi-fi you might try a lan cable but I would thing that you would be getting picture problems along with audio problems if the lan was the problem. You can allow Samsung to connect right into your tv and they can take a look at it as well. Call the place you bought it from for an answer about the model or check your manual. You can even access Samsung and allow them to go right into your tv over the internet.

Do it before your warranty runs out! Do it now and get on to enjoying your new tv!

Network issues with Samsung Smart TV UN60JU6500FXZA

You mention two separate issues, WiFi and smart hub. As you know Samsung built in manual is the worst idea ever. There is no picture of the complete rear panel connection for example.
If the smart hub is the actual WiFi antenna then if your system doesn't recognize Smart Hub then you have a bad smart hub.
to test smart hub plug something into hub ( DVD HDMI, video game) If your remote has smart hub button press and see what appears. Otherwise select source on remote see if your attached item appears. (That would indicate smart hub does talk to TV)!
Since you can access your network when hard wired your network password is stored.
Once you have verified Smart Hub is functional then work on WiFi.
i will say my Samsung is 3 ft from my router and hard wired for better streaming speed.
I use Bluetooth access to share photos from IPads.
I would leave TV hard wired.

Can my Samsung 46" LED TV connect to the internet

If you have purchased a Samsung smart TV with Smart Hub you will be able to connect to the internet using the web browser found in the Apps when running Smart Hub function.

You will need to have either an Ethernet cable connected to your TV from your router or you can connect using WiFi is your TV is so equipped.

You need to use the menu to go to the internet connection setup.

I hope this answer is helpful to you.

My samsung smart tv won't connect to my network

You need to setup all you computer network to home network not public network because in order to connect you need to have a password which you need for every system in your home. Consider which computer is your main system. Then go to control panel and select networking icon and select network status. Now click on where it says Public Network or even Home Network and re choose home network and right down the code password. Then click ok and you are set. Go to your TV and choose to setup network, then choose to detect network automatically and choose your network. Then type in your password and you are set. Try it now and you should be able to view your photos, videos and so on. Good luck and let me know you you go!!
