Sorry, that's all we got, without any details or make and model..

Is the receiver of the device covered perhaps? There has to be line of sight between the remote and the 'eye' on the device that gets the infrared light pulse from the remote.

My remote control is not working at all

There are a few things you can try to get your remote control working again:1. Check the batteries. If the batteries are low, they may not have enough power to operate the remote control. Try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.2. If the remote control still does not work, try resetting it. To reset the remote control, remove the batteries and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.3. If the remote control still does not work, try connecting it to a different TV. Sometimes the remote control can become paired with a specific TV and will not work with other TVs.4. If the remote control still does not work, it may be defective and need to be replaced.

Remote control not working even though I have inserted new batteries

Hello, Desmond -

If you have owned the remote control for a while (years), the pads under the control keys used most often may be worn out. We had to have our remote controls replaced. They were the remote controls provided by our TV cable service. I telephoned the service number for our cable company and told the customer service representative the problem and he arranged for replacement remote controls to be delivered to us at no added cost.

Bottom line: You probably have to obtain a replacement remote control. Without knowing if the remote control came with your TV or if it is from a cable or satellite TV service, I can't direct you regarding obtaining a replacement remote control.
