As long as you install both struts it should work.

If you had the struts done, you should have had an alignment done asap afterwards. If you didnt, that could be why the struts have gone bad already.

struts look at the front wheel if you see coil springs it struts if you see leak springs or a air bag it shocks

struts in the front and shocks in the rear, the rear shocks have coil springs over the shocks, like the front struts, but you dont need to use a spring compressor tool on them which is neccessary on struts

One needs a special tool called a 'spring compressor' to compress the front strut spring enough to remove the nut on the strut. Very dangerous without the tool. Must use the spring compressor to service the strut assembly, or get a loaded strut/spring assembly to replace old strut assembly.

Rear struts: 1 1/2 hours per side times your areas labour rate.

They don't have struts they have regular old shock absorbers. $20.00 a piece for shocks should be about the same to install them.

Sounds like the struts. Probably cheapest and least hassle in future to replace them with a passive system, like Suncore, Strutmasters or Arnott industry shocks.
