My surflink 2 keeps turning off in the middle of setting up or tuning my hearing aids. It's like the on/off switch is out of sync. I've tried to reset it and that doesn't work.

It's best to contact the manufacturer or the doctor you got them from for support.

SOURCE: I just installed a Wood 59018 timer, and when i

Timer is wired wrong and timer white and timer red wires are probably connected together.
Timer white wire has to be connected to white neutral wires that are twisted together and shoved to back of box. This will power the clock mechanism inside timer.
If box does not have white neutrals, then connect timer white wire to bare ground wire along with timer green wire.
Timer black wire connects to Hot wire.
Timer red wire connects to Load wire.

SOURCE: I have a 2003 alero that keeps having starting

if fuel pump is working, and the pressure is ok! then check for a faulty Ignition switch, not the ignition lock and key, but the switch itself.

These are notorious for this and have the exact same symptoms. if fuel pump does not work, check relay in fuse box. hope this helps you! check the pump relay first. just swap the relay from another spot to see if this helps.
good-day! if all fails, go to store and buy a can of compressed air in a can and put staw in ignition and spray it good a few times this may help because on these cars they get dust in ignition, and it messes up the contacts. the same as you would use for cleaning keyboard dust- you can buy it at Best Buy, hardware stores etc)
- place the thin extension "straw" (that comes attached to the can) on the nozzle
- blow out the key hole (use at least half a can of the compressed air)
- soak the key in rubbing alcohol for few minutes
-dry the key.

Replace battery

The SurfLink unit has an adapter that plugs into the wall and shouldn't have any batteries.
The SurfLink remote manual says "The battery in your SurfLink Remote is not replaceable. Do not attempt to replace the battery."

Starkey SurfLink Operation Manual

I would check the price of replacing the remote and ask Batteries + Bulbs what they charge to replace the battery.

Can't get my TV listening device to work

It looks like you may have a Sennheiser 840S. There is a t-coil option, however, you can plug in any standard headset to the port on the side and use the device without your hearing aids. It's port #5 on page 2.

I can hear people, but they can't hear me - apparently my microphone isn't working (and no, it's not set to 'mute')

Check if the microphone is not muted. The mute button is at the top left of the keypad when a call is being received or made. If the mike is not muted, then try the following steps:
I. Switch on phone with SIM Card.
2. Select Menu.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Call.
5. Select Hearing Aid.
6. Set Hearing Aid to OFF. And that should solve the problem. If this does not work then the microphone might be damaged and may need to be changed.
