Open up your application window. Find the app you want to restore the shortcut to, and then drag the app icon to your tray at the bottom of the screen. Follow this procedure for any/all apps that have disappeared from the Lauchpad tray (menubar).
1.Go to "Settings" from the iPhone home screen. 2. Select "General." 3. Go to "Reset" at the bottom of the page. 4. Click "Reset Home Screen Layout." 5. Click "Reset Home Screen." The icons on the home screen are now back to the default icons, including the App Store icon.
Touch and hold a blank space on the screen and you will get options to add Applications, widget , settings etc . Select widget and select Clock ( htc ) , swipe towards your right and find the one that you are looking for .
Thumps up if this has helped .
There is a little rectangle shape thing next to the lg logo on the top of the fone screen. If this is blocked by screen protector it will cause the phone to blank of during calls. Its a power saver that blanks the phone when its near your face. Try it. Take off the screen protector & make a call. Then place your finger over the little thing & the screen goes blank. Just cut a lil space in the screen protector & that will fix the problem
This sounds like the phone is not booting properly. Is the background black with a big Apple icon on the screen? If so connect the phone to your computer and open iTunes. hold the power and home button for 10 seconds until the icon disappears, then release the power button but continue to hold the home button until windows installs the driver.
This will put your iPhone into DFU mode, the screen should remain blank but the phone should be recognised in iTunes. Using iTunes click restore and the software should reinstall and resolve our problem.
Warning: All data on the iPhone will be lost and replaced with the last backup iTunes made.
Hope this helps,

Try a restore. Hold down home and power together until screen goes black. While holding down home button, plug it into your computer. iTunes should now recognize your iPhone and ask you to restore.
Hope this helps!

If you are trying to jailbreak it, restore it with the firmware that you intend to do the jailbreak with. when you restore, press shift and Restore at the same time and chose the firmware version from you computer. I would suggest you use quickpwn to jailbreak your touch. It seems to be the most effective and relaible.
Somehow, my HDD/DVD recorder recorded correctly 2 times last night, even if I did not do anything specific to fix. I will keep an eye on new occurences of this problem, but it appears at the moment that the issue disappeared by itself.
the user manual I have here is quite useless, these need to be enteredinto the GPRS settings and Browser settings somehow but the manual doesn't cover how todoit.
