Contact SHARP?
google SHARP wiizard oz-892 support.
Sharp don't support old product any more (correct me if I am wrong). I wrote to them (email), the support term not even know what is PDA. They only know Iphone. You are on your own
correct,
How can I save my memory data?
so you can see the data?
or lost it pulling all 4 coin cells.
if you can still see the data use the manual (have it) and use USB to down load it?
wow even a manual is rare, gee how old is this thing>??
the 590s Syncs with Microsoft Outlook via USB
on some wizards, the 4 coin cell pulled erases all memory, (there steps to take in the missing manual to avoid that ) infact the 4th cell is the memory backup power,
and the box of one new, says 2year life on backup battery (named)
first wiz was 1989
aahhhhhh the wrong model told buy you, wiki show only oz-8920
series, 8000 not 8000 so that that why google is dead. wrong model
OZ is USA 1991?
QZ is rest of the world.
so is USA model
but it is 31 years old. and the only hope is the sync mode, and the manuals are lost.
I bet never scanned in to PDF format ever. and that fact is why google fails, there is no text for the google bot to find.
RIP 892x
ok check this out, IQ-8920 1994 STATES
NEVER PULL ALL BATTERIES AT ONCE.
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/151827...
SYNC IT FIRST. the do main batteries, (running bats)
then last do memory bat
or all will be lost. even in1994, 89 to 94 years.
those tier 1 folks never even born in 1989, so are clueless, (and natural)
google is too, on relics, for sure some guy that scanned in 332 page see above, that guy is a wild man.(a hero yes)
before CDs or before PDF and no flat bed scanners existed or were not affordable, who does that then>?
hero's or retired boomers like me. might, but I never do.
books and paper guides then were not scanned at all (lacking the lost CD)
really CDs were the first, open box pull out CD see manual on CD and can be copied to PC if lucky.
some makers used some custom software to do that, making copies super hard.
the error above i think is in all their wizard manuals 1989 to 1991 found first and last so assume they all are .that. not told here if you lost data (direct to it)
CD drives below $1000 then was year 1995. so after that date many makers of devices, vast had a CD driver and manual on CD with the purchased product and many were no PDF, at all but a custom app + custom data file..
so that is why old things have no manual before MiC Jagger sang "startup up" windows 95

Touch the left solid arrow on the bottom of the screen enough times to bring you to the Country at the top of the screen. Touch the solid up or down arrow until you come the USA. Touch the solid right arrow unil you see the USA city field. Now touch the solid down arrow until you come to your city. Touch the solid right arrow once and the hour should be highlighted. Enter your hour. Now touch the right arrow to enter the minutes. Continue with the right arrow to fill in all the values and touch am or pm. Finally touch save or enter. The little smilly face is for daylight saving time which is touched on in the summer time. Hope this helps you, [email protected]
SOURCE: Replace battery in Sharp OZ-8000 pda.
unscrew 3 little screws at the bottom cover using jewelry phillip driver-remove the cover- you will see further instructions inside the cover. This model requires 5 batteries CR2032 (4 for main memory-1 for backup memory)-Hope it helps.
SOURCE: I have Sharp OZ-5600 which
Hello Kyriakos, The sharp OZ-5600 is a wonderful unit. It is durable as well as very user friendly. There is no way you can use the organizer again without losing the data on it. The memory is damaged or not initialized because both batteries which were in the unit were completely out and therefore the unit could not continue to keep the system files which were previously saved on it. These files are the files which enable the unit to function as it used to.
I am very sorry but there is no way the unit can function again unless the data is deleted and the unit reset.
Hope this solution is helpful?

Usually answered in minutes!
not told history , sat over 2 years unused, and now it is dead.
then replaced batteries out of order and now all data is gone, and is dead, can't get it to work at all much less
see data there
if you pulled all batteries at the same time then all data is gone forever.
the data is stored in NVRAM and 1 battery kept that data for 2 years the book says.
they tell you in the manual to keep it sync'd to the PC, per that manual (lost?)_
this happened to PDA vast tool.
nvram is (battery + SRAM) if the battery is pulled (all) ,then all is lost. if not sync to PC.
below I posted the page that proved that out.
