My logitech is not working - Logitech Computers & Internet

Look through this page and try everything it says until it works. I browsed through the troubleshooting on logitech's website for the m705.

Hi Warp you can not use any other mouse with your Logitech Easycall Desktop receiver, but with the additionnal mouse's receiver connected you should not meet any conflict using both at the same time. Thanks and have a nice day. Crenshow

go to start menu, control panel, sound. Then here go into the Tabs and select the Speakers. Apply, Done !
If it does not work, then I suggest you to contact the Logitech support for a replacement this is an hardware
failure and it's covered by warranty terms.

the logitech software is fairly good quality if it doesn't work you can always delete it without harming your software.

Yes it will with the new driver just released from Logitech.
Follow this link, choose either 32 or 64 bit, download and install.

if these updates are logitech based. may be issue with hid driver system.

1. open the device manager
2. look for the mouse section
3. right click on the logitech mouse
   
4. update driver (do not start auto updater)
   
5. select advanced/install from specific location
6. then select dont search i will choose a driver.
7. if you see more then one logitech driver choose hid-compliant device.
8. mouse should start working uninstall all logitech programs and delete all folders for logitech in the programs folder.
9. use CCleaner to get rid of any registry entries.

Hi,

First of all, make sure you test the new mouse in a different USB-port then the old one, this can sometimes force windows to "reinitialize" communications with the mouse.

If this does not work try something of the following:

If you have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:

1)Remove it. *
2)Install it again


If you don't have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:
1)Install it.
