Check the interval between pin 1 and pin 2 and between pin 3 and pin 4 of the connectors (4-pin) of the thermistor for electrical continuity. Is it 0 W (short circuit)? YES: The thermistor has a short circuit. Replace the fixing film unit. If the thermistor has a short circuit, the indication in service mode (COPIER>DISPLAY>ANALOG) will be as follows from the start: FIXC= 250°C for the main thermistor; FIX-E=310°C for the sub thermistor. 2. Main power supply PCB, DC controller PCB Try replacing the main power supply PCB. Is the problem corrected? YES: End. NO: Replace the DC controller PCB.

This is the standard error code for the fixing assembly is not heating up properly. Most likey the fixing film assembly ( P/N FG6-6039-120 ) is defective. You can reset the error once by pressing the additional function key, then the 2 & 8 keys at the same time and then the additional function key again. This should get you into service mode. Press COPIER, FUNCTION, CLEAR, ERR, Then OK. Turn off the copier for about 10 seconds then turn it back on. This resets the error. If the error or another error with alot of zeros and one digit comes back then you have to have it repaired before going any further.
