SOURCE: Why won't a brand new stitch D card work in Viking
Stick with me and I'll see what I can find out.
In the mean time, verify that you are able to do card E1 stitch 24 and card E2 stitch 27. I think you can, but let me know.
SOURCE: I need the driver installation for my reader/writer d-card
Drivers are on the installation disk. 3D will have it on cd#1 and 4D on the dvd. With the disk in the drive, plug the dCard reader/writer in and use the "add new hardware" wizard to allow the drivers to install automatically. Now,either repeat this for each usb port or remember to always plug in to the same port.

SOURCE: How do you align the needle threader on Husqvarna
You need a torx #6 screw driver to loosen the screws on the back of the threader, (I use magnifying goggles to see the threader) then put the threader in the down postion and look to see and make sure the hook of the threader goes through the eye of the needle. Holding the threader in the down positon with the hook sticking through the eye of the needle, tighten the screws on the backside of the threader, Double check it (slowly) to be sure it didn't move while you tightened the screws.

Assume you are loading your designs using Organizer? Yes? I have very limited experience of this, preferring to use Disk Manager (but you need to have this program which I am guessing you don't).
It is my understanding that Organizer will only load one design to an embroidery media, not a whole menu of various designs. However you obviously are not "seeing" even one design. Did a pre-loaded Husqvarna card come with your machine? I think it should have, but if it didn't then that doesn't help you very much either.
I am wondering if the D-card is not "formatted" for embroidery recognition. The Designer machines like to receive their designs in a certain file arrangement but I'm afraid I can't offer you advice on how to format the card - I do my formatting through Disk Manager.
However, while I was writing the above it did occur to me - are you loading designs that are the .shv format? Your machine will not recognize .hus, .vip, .vp3 or any other format. Please write back to this group and let me know if any of the above was useful to you. I belong to a Yahoo group that deals exclusively with Designer machines, so I will ask the group members if they can come up with any helpful advice.
