Toshiba 50 inch flat screen is on retail lock cant reset by remote or unplugging tv what can i do

There should be someplace in the menu that says first time setup or initial setting or something similar where it steps you through setting your TV. During that process it will ask you to choose between home or retail. Make sure you complete all the steps. If you can't find it in the menu, give me the model number and I will look it up.

My toshiba tv is stuck on initial setup menu, language selection. original remote is not working

Hi,, today i got the solution for the problem 'Tv Stuck On Language Screen"
I have Skyworth Lcd and it was stuck on Language screen 4 days back, i've tried every sigle App and Different Universal Remotes and buttons on Tv but nothing was working except a single App named "SURE UNIVERSAL REMOTE FOR TV"
i suggest if someone face this Language screen stucking problem and no buttons and remotes are working then you should download this App on your Cell phone and select your tv and you'll surely be able to restore your Tv.

Hello, the problem with my mini toshiba nb200 is that when I on it, it shows the initial screen which says ; TOSHIBA Leading Innovation >>> Press [F2] for ...

If you are getting the Toshiba Select F2 or F12 screen the mother board has finished with POST.

Toshiba laptops are very good normally but don't boot up if there is a device in the USB slot or a CD/DVD in the drive.
If it still refuses to POST, remove the AC Adapter, remove the battery and remove the hard drive.
Power the unit up without the hard drive and it should complete POST and complain that there is no hard drive. If that doesn't work remove AC adapter, ensure battery is disconnected and remove hard drive and RAM. Try again. If it still doesn't work, you have a mother board fault and it needs a service centre. www.Toshiba.com will help you out.
If it does work at one of the options, when you have closed the laptop down, replace the RAM first and test, then the Hard Drive.
Hope this fixes your problem.

Black box on tv screen

Sounds like "closed captioning" or other information mode has been setup on your TV, slect " Menu" on your remote and go through initial set up or options to see what has been set up change it. If there is a default option or factory setting available select that.

Initial setup on Bravia 26" won't come up

Try resetting the TV to the original factory settings. After resetting the TV to the original factory settings, you can get the initial setup screen to select Antenna. Make sure that the cable from the Antenna is connected to the TV.

Follow the steps given below to reset the TV to the original factory settings:

(i) Turn ON the TV.
(ii) While holding down the Up arrow button on the Remote control supplied with the TV, press the Power button on the TV set. The TV will turn itself off then back ON again.
(iii)Next, release the Up arrow.

Getting m laptop on the tv screen

You should go to toshibas site. And download the User Manual if possible. this will usually be in Adobe Acrobat format.
Some laptops ( Not all ) have a certain key for example F7 Or F8 that when you start your laptop. you can press fn And F7 To switch between lcd and vga. or fn And F8 LCD-TV.
Alternatively is to re-install your operating system and hopefully this should put the system back to it,s factory default values.
Finally is to enter the bios setup, and change the initial display settings in there.
Hope this helps resolve your problem.
Mike.
