SOURCE: The heater will not ignite properly and the heater will not shut off
Judging by your pics (helpful, by the way) you have a high limit wired into your thermostat wire. Try disconnecting that wire nut connection in front of your valve and hooking the thermostat straight to the top and bottom posts on the valve (eliminating the high limit). If it runs fine, either the connection was poor or your high limit wire is pinched.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
If I understand your concern, it is that the heater switches itself on for 10 seconds and then switches itself automatically off. A couple of ideas of you may want to explore/check:
Often the limit switch would look like the image below.
To be able to provide a more detailed information/assistance, pls verify & post back the model number of the Day Night Heater. Model 8ou-19 does not turn up anything. Or perhaps you can share the website you were referring to.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

I got this error when I had increased my air pressure to 5.5 lbs. Cut the pressure back to 4.5 and it has been running fine for the last three hours. At 5.5 it got WARM ... solid red hot cone and flames coming around the outside. Had been having problems with it cutting off for no apparent reason in really cold weather. Took the pump apart and cleaned it and checked for clearances and reassembled but it did not help much. Will schedule it for a total pump replacement with new filters asap. Pump parts and filter are not that bad. Should come in under $50.00
Hope this helps
I also turned the thermostat back a little off of full on.

SOURCE: Heater Burner ignites but main blower motor will not turn on.
it sound like the blower motor may be seizing up. try spining the blade by hand to see if it feels free or not. the motor could be trying to turn but can then tripping itself out on overload. (most motors have built in safety overloads which will trip during an overcurrant event. aka too many amps.) you may have to replace blower motor
