Hi, got an split type air conditioner make galanz 12000 btu, non-inverter . when i turn on the switch it turns 0n by itself and display starts buggin, its keeps beeping and restarting by itself. sometimes its works well then sudddenly just do the same. any idea?

On some remotes there is a reset button which is pressed by using the nib of a pen. Or if this does not work you should look under the cover for a manual button, most units have one, and see if the aircon responds. I suspect your remote sensor is faulty, but try the previous suggestions first.

It depends on the effiency of the unit. The fan could be cycling because the condensor coil is not hot enough. When it get hot enough the fan will turn on. If not you have a bad fan motor

Just had the Amani service guy out. Had the same problem. It was the capacitor. Took about 15 mins to fix. The machine turns off to protect itself because it knows something's wrong

If the water collection tank is full, it will not turn ON. Since you said the unit worked fine for one day and now it won't turn ON, more than likely, that's the problem. After draining the tank, the unit should reset itself and turn ON like it should.

The drain plug is on the rear of the unit, just above floor level. You can either drain it into a low sided pan or bowl that's capable of holding up yo a quart of water. O r roll the unit to a floor drain or outside to drain it. If you choose to drain it into a pan, turn the unit OFF & unplug it, before draining it.
