That's a noise-cancelling preamplified (power) mike, excellent but more expensive.

My new Astatic Road Devil will not transmit audio on my Cobra 2000, it came with a 4pin plug and I put on a 5pin 1 white(audio) 2 shield 3 black(recieve) 4 blue(common) 5 red (transmit) yellow(n/a)

recheck that you have the wiring correct. you will need the wiring of the cobra 2000/148gtl/grantxl... can't remember the pin outs. what you have posted is not the correct one??? i think.

Astatic solid state D104 to Ranger 2995 dx diagram

Hi,

You have to use 4 wires from the D-104.

Pin 1 = Shield + Blue
Pin 2 = Audio white
Pin 3 = PTT red
Pin 4 = N/C
Pin 5 = N/C
Pin 6 = N/C

N/C = Not Connected.

Good luck,
Gerard
