SOURCE: I have a Coleman Powermate 5000 / No power output

Two suggestions. One: check for voltage from the secondary coil wires (if it has one). Two: unless stated do not do this, I have always flashed the excitor circuit through the 120vac receptical. Give these a shoot and I hope it works for you.

SOURCE: I have a toshiba 42HL167. Love it but recently

Yes. The Yellow LED blinking 3 times is a normal boot-up, but if it keeps doing it -- it needs the firmware "update" (which is more like a reload because it got corrupted.) The problem is, no one talks about how to do that. (there is a PDF and firmware on toshiba's website, but it lacks some crucial details.)

My friend gave me his 42HL167 after this problem started after a power event during a storm and I managed to fix it by reloading the firmware.

I posted instructions on my website at:

http://www.benjammin.net/www/pages/techtips/Toshiba-Regza-42HL167.html

Once I figured out some of the facts, it was a breeze...

John deere farm power tractor not moving, battery is fully charged and putting out 12 volts

check the voltage at the foot pedal, if you have 12 volts there, then check at the shifter, if you have 12 volts there then check at the motors, if you have 12 volts there then you have bad motors

I have a yth2148 Husky that the blades quit turning after they have been engaged after mowing about 3 minutes!

You need to check there is a 12 volt supply to the clutch connection wire when it stops, if there is power here then it has to be an issue with the electro magnetic clutch. If there is no 12 volt supply to the conection then it may well be the relay sited under the hood by the fuel tank, they are just push in plugs and easy to replace, there will be two of them just try switching them round and see if a problem has appeared elsewhere. The othere area is the pto switch itself. they can and do burn the contacts inside, there is a diode in the cluch wire to stop power travel back through the switch.

I changed my 1950 ford over to 12 volt and it sat for over 1 year now it wont start so I changed the solinoid ,and ignition switch ,battery, battery terminals and it still wont start and no lights

hey
Recheck the battery connections for crud.Clean battery post/cables and where cables connect to the frame and starter solenoid as sometimes the tractor power feed is at the solenoid.
Good Luck
O if you have a meter or 12volt trouble lamp you can measure across the connection for a voltage drop. With the lights in the on position.

Some of the malibu lights on the string are lighted and some are out. I even changed the lights and they stil do not work.

Check where the wires from the individual lights connect to the main power cord. Many times, that is a problem area. An automotive 12 volt test light is real handy working on these as sometimes the 12 volt low voltage bulbs look good, but aren't.

My 2n tractor only puts out 3-4 charging. The

The 12 v conversion is the way to go. 6 v is a pain. It's getting harder and harder to get parts, and running off of battery power leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you've ever had to haul a dead battery back to the barn. I had a Farmall model "B", 1947, 6 volts. 12 volts was like a whole different tractor. Just my humble opinion!
