SOURCE: will not let select the

I suspect that when the television was set up for the first time energy-saving HOME mode was not selected. Rather STORE mode was selected. You will not be able to make certain picture adjustments when it is set up as if it were going to be displayed in a store. You will need to go into the menu and select your language and then press menu again and select HOME mode. Then you should be able to press the LAST button on the remote and menu again to exit if necessary.

SOURCE: i am having a problem with my volume fluctuating

Does this happen on all inputs? Have you tried different devices? I am assuming you have recently purchased this tv new. If the problem happens with all of your devices and on different inputs I would check the stores return policy and return it to the store or have it serviced under the manufacturer warranty. If you need further assistance please let me know. If you find this information helpful please take a moment to accept/rate my solution accordingly.
Thank you,
Lee

SOURCE: We replaced the IR sensor on our Vizio but still cannot control the volume via the remote (which has tested good). Any further suggestions?

Since sensor is receiving the signal of other inputs, there is nothing wrong with it. This looks like an incompatibility issue. You may have to retry using the original remote control.

Vizio tv E470VL. Replaced power board and no change. Front vizio light will glow at bottom but tv will not come on. Please help.

Power board isn't the issue. Its the digital board and/or bad panel. As much as I love to repair things, Vizio is one company who isnt worth it. I have seen 14month old TVs with bad panels. The E470VL is a known problem TV. The panel is probably shorted and its keeping the digital board in protection which is keeping the power supply from starting. Its really frustrating. I wish Vizio would stop making such sub-par equipment.

No, your video and audio processing should take place on the same main board.

M420mv vizio led television ir infrared doesnt work

that can be caused by either the IR sensor board or the main board. The IR sensor board would be suspected first. You can get the IR board or the main board from www.tvrepairworld.com

Visio M470SV will not accept signal from remote

Replace remote batteries, try a universal remote, and look for a Reset button on your remote. Once you've tried all three things, let us know anything else that you can. All we really know at this point is that your remote isn't working.

Vizio m470sv remote stopped working, bought a vizio replacement remote...still no good????

What you are dealing with is not a bad remote controller, the problem is from your IR Sensor. You will need to replace this IR Sensor. You Vizio TV has a common defect with the IR Sensor. Make sure you order the revised version so you don't encounter this problem again. You can find the IR Sensor here: 3637 0022 0189 0171 1671 0892 Vizio IR Sensor

Not able to program vizio remote towork with att uverse Cisco box

Hi,
Maybe too late for you but ATT just gave me a code that works with my Vizio plasma. Code is 1343. Even the mute works correctly. They gave me some others to try but I didn't need them. Other codes were 1018, 0030 and 0056.
