Caution! Separate force before overhauling!
1. Open the entryway and evacuate the screws holding the entryway, at that point pull outward on the entryway to separate the pivots.
2, Remove the screws on the contrary side of the entryway opening.
3. Pull outward on the lower some portion of the front board to separate from the top.
4. Expel the screw from the upper left and right corner top retainer section.
5. Turn the retainer sections toward one another to separate the top from the side boards.
6. Lift top.

Warning! Disconnect power before servicing!
1.Open the door and remove the screws holding the door, then pull outward on the door to disengage the hinges.
2, Remove the screws on the opposite side of the door opening.
3. Pull outward on the lower part of the front panel to disengage from the top.
4. Remove the screw from the top left and right corner top retainer bracket.
5. Rotate the retainer brackets toward each other to disengage the top from the side panels.
6. Lift top.

a bearing in the back for your drum sounds like what you describe. It needs to be taken apart and the bearing lubricated with high temp grease

A gas dryer is dedicated to the use of gas to supply its heating function. It works on 125 volts. No way can a gas dryer become an electric one. UNLESS!
you just want to hang out yer clothes under the sun and use the dryer as a way to fluuf up yer clothes OR you could place the dryer into a box and make a condenser dryer out of it. Like cool hand luke you will toss that dryer into a rigid metal box in direct sunlight so that it can be an unbearable 140 degree up in there. then grab yer clothes and toss em in there and close that tar paer lined tin box up my friend.Let the sun do its thang. I think i just invent the redneck dryer! we don't need no stinking gas. Green power to the people! LOL

could be the board, could be a motor, could be a belt but i would run it intill something just stops or try your best to take it apart and look through things and see if you can see an indication.
