Samsung DMT300RFW Builtin Dishwasher will not run past wash cycle. I start it and it fills and the wash cycle starts but won't cycle past the wash cycle. No error codes.

What do you mean, it won't "run past the wash cycle"? Do you mean it stays in the wash cycle forever? Or do you mean it quits in the wash cycle and doesn't rinse or dry?

My dishwasher is installed, but it won't go past the "washing" cycle. I have very hot water and am not using the "sanitize" option. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Your Question:
"My dishwasher is installed, but it won\'t go past the "washing" cycle. I have very hot water and am not using the "sanitize" option. Any ideas what could be causing this? "
Hi, I have ideas about your dishwasher. It apparently has a failed timer.
If this is a new dishwasher installation of a new machine. Then it is defective and is covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
The hot water issue is fine. A dishwasher's internal water temperature should be at least 140 degrees, so the machine will heat up water to accomplish this.
I would cancel the cycle the machine is in test it in various cycles.
I would try it in sanitize as well. If it completes the full cycle. Then use it.
However, if it hangs up again. I will need a new timer mechanism.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions at all, reply to me through this website.
Best Regards,

It wont go past the wash cycle

The soil censor is the problem, basically the water in the machine is circulating around and the soil censor doesn't detect how dirty the water is so therefor wont empty out, change it out and you should be good to go.

Dishwasher not washing dishes properly

Thanks akubra_lands, it worked for me too on model DW28W. I thought I should elaborate on your answer for anyone else who comes across this while researching the same problem.
The repair is ridiculously simple (takes about 10min) and the only tools needed are 1 philips/posidrive screwdriver and 1 flat blade screwdriver. Assuming you've unplugged it from mains power:
  1. Tip the dishwasher on its right hand side (looking from the front).
  2. Remove 4 screws from the metal base - 2 front and 2 rear (the rear ones have anti-rattle washers on them).
  3. Pull the base away, taking care of the pair of wires leading to the flood indicator float switch which is still attached to the base.
  4. Remove all 4 screws which fasten the solenoid valve to the pipe which leads from the pump upwards to the center of the tank (which feeds the lower spray arm).
  5. Pull the solenoid/valve body off the pipe and you will see it has a whitish plastic flap with a hinge at the top end.
  6. Use the flat blade screwdriver to gently prize open one side of the flap hinge and twist the flap until it is completely free of the valve body. Put the flap to one side.
  7. Replace the valve body, without the flap, and secure all 4 screws.
  8. Reassemble the dishwasher. Done
Now take a moment to admire the handiwork of the engineer who planned the failure of that innocent little plastic flap around 6 months after the expiry of the warranty.
I actually had a repair man come and look at the problem, and yep, right on cue, he told me it needed a new pump motor. $300. When he realised I was on to him he just gave up. So hard for repair people to do an honest day's work these days..

Indesit D167. When cycle selected no water pumping or filling but 1 & 2 green indicators on.

Tilt your dishwasher forwards. Be aware that water will come out ouf the bottom. Once this is clear your washer should be Ok.
Good Luck
