I have had an extremely similar problem with my Comcast Motorola DVR and Sony Bravia with HDMI connection. For months I would lose picture/keep sound when changing from a non-HD to an HD channel. The solution that I found is that there is a setting in the cable box setup that will likely fix your issue. Turn off your cable box leaving the TV on. Quickly press the Menu button on your remote to get into the Box setup. Make sure that 4:3 Override is set to "Off" instead of 480i. I believe this will solve your problem.
SOURCE: change voltage from 120v to 240v sony bravia
I think that Sony Bravia are sold with dual voltage, 110V and 220V. All 220V devices work also on British 240V network.
If an electronic device is not compatible with the 240V/220V network, then the PSU must be replaced.
In your case the unit should be dual voltage, compatible with 220/240V networks. Just ensure checking the user manual, or the tag at the back of TV.
All you need in that case is an adapter that can be purchased at any local electrical shop (eg. Curry's if you are in UK).
Regards.

1.This issue sounds as though the TV connection circuit has an issue.
2. You have changed the DVR and the HDMI cables and you still have an issue with the video (pink screen) indicates a video circuit issue ( improper voltage or current) at the video section of the circuit.
3. This will require some troubleshooting by a qualified tech.
4. To make sure, try connecting another properly working LCD TV to the cable box or DVR an check. If you get a picture and sound properly it is the TV.
5. Usually a cable box is QA'd (quality assured) by the company and will not be sent unless tested 1st
SOURCE: hdmi port stopped working on sony bravia
I have a Sony Bravia model KDL-46s5100 that had the same problem. All HDMI ports stopped working. I don't know why this works but unplug the TV for about 30 sec, then plug it back in and hold down the power button on the tv for 10 seconds. Like I said I don't know why this works but it worked for me. Good luck.
