I need a manual or instructions for installing the ribbon on an old adding machine. It's a 1123PD nova TA Adler-Royal.

Power cords are pretty generic and I would imaging yours look like and 8 if you look at it end on. Amazon would be the place to get one. Is it like this.

Good luck. They are JUNK. Go buy a Good Calc, Canon, Sharp etc.What do you use this for? Home, Company, School? A computor will do this better and faster.

Turn the T/W off, slide the carrier to the R., look for debris in the carrier area. Spray some WD40 on the silver shaft that the carrier slides on.
Move the carrier back and forth to be sure tghere isn't a bind or hitting something.

You need a new ribbon.
Older or much older desk top calculators used a small sized ribbon such as the old typewriters used except that the reels were about 1 inch across. Often they were divided into a red and black side.
It the calculator had all of the numbers strike the paper at the same instant, then it would use an
ribbon.
