Ever since a child died after being trapped by an electric car window safety has been built in - the motor current is monitored and if it suddenly rises as it would if it met an obstruction, it is designed to reverse.
Clearly your window motor is meeting an obstruction of some sort, probably in the door internal mechanism.

SOURCE: can't control passenger window in mazda 6
Passenger window lost programing. To reprogram, turn the key on, go to the passenger side and with the passemger switch run the window all the way down and hold switch in down position for 2 seconds, then run all the way up and hold in up position for 2 seconds, then repeat again within 5 seconds. Should work from drivers side master switch now.

My problem is just the opposite..sorta.. I can only get my window to close during the initialization process. It will not go down. I have replaced bothte regulator and motor wit the same results. Where can I get the pinouts of the switch and window motor/harness to verify the outputs/inputs?
