Recheck the outlets and if they are on the same circuit as the dryer then you could have a problem with the wiring . My feeling if the living room outlets were changed there should be no connection between the living room and utility room. One way of telling is to get an extension cord and hook it to your dryer and to different outlets in the house that you know is working.f there is power on the living room receptacles then plug the dryer extension into them.

SOURCE: Why does my washing machine have 2 drain outlets?

This is a water saver or previously known as a suds saver model. The bottom one is the drain. The top one would go to a suds tub. If you set the machine on save, the wash water is pumped out of the top hose into the holding sink next to the washer. The rinse water goes out the bottom hose to the drain. The next cycle you could set the washer to the very beginning of the main wash cycle and the washer would pump the water from the tub back into the washer to be used as wash water for the second load of laundry. Yea, used water. But the first load would be lightly soiled stuff, and the next load would be old barn clothes or play clothes. It was designed to save water (about 65 gallons used for 2 loads vs. 90 gallons) and soap. (now, front load machines with larger tubs would use as little as 25 gallons for two loads.) Just hook up the bottom hose to the drain. Leave the save / drain switch set to drain and you'll be fine. To be extra safe (in case the switch was accidentally set to save) disconnect the wires at the solenoid where the drain hose splits into two at the back bottom of the washer. (right where the hoses exit the machine.)

SOURCE: moving tv to another cable outlet

I f you have cable at the new location follow it back to a splitter. Remove the one you used to use and screw in the one you want to use. They should all terminate at the same location.

SOURCE: different outlet went out after installing dimmer.

It's possible that he living room outlet feeds through the dining room switch and that a wire may have become disconnected when you put in the dimmer. I don't know the specifics of you home layout. If the dining room and living room are on different circuit breaker switches, this is not the problem.

Hi,
You state you had a short in the home. Since the washer is on 110V system, you can try a different outlet and see if the machine works. Although you state that it isn't on the same part of the panel as the washer/dryer, and the dryer works, the dryer is on a different breaker, and it may indeed have had some effect on the panel that hooks to the washer. Try my first option, and let me know how you make out. I believe you'll find that to be the trouble

I plugged a hair dryer in my room then it wouldn't come on in both rooms but all the other rooms outlets work this is the second time this month this problem has occured

Please check the circuit breaker fuses. The one in your bedroom is of lower amps. If it is 5 amps replace it with 15 amps. Also check the connections of the socket. It could be that wires there are not connected with the socket or they are burnt out thus no connection.

hi,
you can try using a good quality surge strip on the tv. if that doesent do it you could try a different outlet on the other side of the room, or try using an outlet from a different room(long extension cord) if that doesent do it you may have to move the tv to another wall.

Was the place where it was the original laundry room. If so outlet was probably a dedicated line not hook to any other outlets. Now you moved and plugged into outlet that is not dedicated other items are probably being used on same circuit or breaker is to small, should be 20amp.

Wont turn on

Check to make sure that your outlet is good.  You may need to run an extension cord to another outlet to make sure.  If the unit still doesn't turn on, you may have a problem with the control board and will need it to be serviced by a qualified LG technician.
