The safety eyes are either installed wrong, or you have the wrong type. Craftsman (liftmaster) has what they they call old style and new style safety eyes. You can not interchange the types.

SOURCE: I have a Securalift Overhead

The courtesy light flashing five times means that there is a door overload. If this is a roll up door please have your tension springs serviced. If it is a one peace door make sure the side springs are not broken and have the door serviced.

SOURCE: flashing green light on garage

You don't mention any problems so I think what you are seeing is the LED that randomly flashes when everything is working as it should.

My Genie garage door opener flashing red. The door will not open or close. The sensors do no light up either. Help!

I would pull handle on opener track and close door. The flashing red indicates the sensors are not aligned read the instructions that came with unit and they will tell you how to align them.. Now one of them may be bad, you can buy replacements at Home depot or Lowes. You can find more info at genie or google you model number and manual is available for free. If you would like more help let me know model number.

Our securalift garage door opens without our input we think someone else has a remote which opens our door. How can we change the code on the opener to prevent this problem

talk with the installer or manufacturer of the control box
Some controllers use a plain code for the remote which means that the door can be opened from any thing---remote ,cell phone tv remote etc
the better systems use a roving code that prevents any one that doesn't have the programmed remote from operating the doors
could be a problem control board but it would be best if you contacted the manufacturer or installer direct

B&d control a door mpc2 model not opening control panel has flashing green up down light and also flashing red light limit set

Check your user guide if available. It sounds like you haven't set the door open limit, so press the up arrow & fully open to the door & push set, do the same for the down arrow until door is completely closed. Push the set button again & the door should be right..

I have a SecuraLift Garage door open. The door will not open with the remote or on hte wall device and the status light is flashing... Can I fix this or do I have to call for the door to be serviced? AND...

Many of these devices use a code that changes each time the door is opened and closed. This feature is used to keep potential bad people from learning your operational code and entering your garage. You may have a communication problem whereby the Garage Opener needs to be reset. You may try to change the settings. If you have dip switches on the main unit in the garage, change the dip switches to another setting and write down the numbers in the order that you have the set them, Then go to the remotes, hand held and hardware placed on the outside door, and change the settings on these devices to MATCH up with the inside unit. This is a good time to REPLACE the batteries also.

Program 2004 mercury mountainer garage opener

Verify the hand-held transmitter is operative.
Prepare for programming the universal transmitter by erasing all three channels (hold down the two outside buttons until the red light begins to flash [20-30 seconds]). Release both buttons.
Select one of the three universal transmitter channels to be programmed by pressing the desired button
Hold the end of the hand-held transmitter 25-51 mm (1-2 in) from the front surface of the universal transmitter so that the red light can still be seen
Use both hands to press the hand-held transmitter button and the desired button on the universal transmitter. Do not release either button.
Hold down both buttons until the red light on the universal transmitter flashes, first slowly and then rapidly. Release both buttons when the rapid flashing begins. The universal transmitter has successfully learned the new frequency signal and can be used in place of the hand-held transmitter(s).
If the hand-held transmitter appears to program the universal transmitter but does not open the garage door, the garage door opener may have a code protected or rolling code feature.
To operate, simply press the appropriate button on the universal transmitter. The red light is on while the signal is being transmitted.
IF THE GARAGE OPENER HAS ROLLING CODES---
program as above then------
Train the garage door opener receiver to recognize the universal transmitter.
Remove the cover panel from the garage door opener receiver.
Locate the training button on the garage door opener receiver. Location and color of the button may vary by garage door opener manufacturer. Refer to the garage door opener instruction manual or owner literature.
Press the training button on the garage door opener receiver for 1-2 seconds.
Press the programmed universal transmitter button for as long as the universal transmitter red light flashes (1-2 seconds). Release the button and re-press the button to confirm that the universal transmitter is trained to the receiver.
The garage door opener should recognize the universal transmitter.
