I have not checked the phone number associated with the video and after you try these tips suggest you try Dell Support rather than the phone number.
Did you disconnect the scanner from any other device and then power if off and on and try any 'test' function with it so disconnected.
You might try reinstalling the software for the printer.

If under warranty, this might just get you a refurbished scanner.
