Which version of Android are you using?

Navigate to the App you want to Delete.

LONG press that App

When it greys out you are in the Edit page...
Easy from there on

The direct mini did not freeze the tv. It's a coincidence. Your TV needs repair. Unfortunately insignia tvs have a reputation for problems like this.

First, check if the charging port is properly and snugly connected. Then, check your batteries. Maybe your batteries aren't charging properly. If the battery is self-replacable, try cleaning the golden battery connectors inside first. Or, your battery may need to be replaced
