I've got a Samsung YP-T9 with no way to delete old songs, or for that matter put things into playlists and such.

Well, another way is you can go to file browser and go to the file you wish to delete. once your at it hold menu until it says delete. press delete and it wil be deleted,

i cannot down load driver from your site for my ipod which model no-is yp-t9j and it capacity is 2 gb .

plug it into your usb port on the computer.
go to 'start' 'my computer' click on the new drive it shows, which will be the mp3
open the mp3 player files, click on video , files, music, or whaterver it is you want to delete. The files will show........click on the one you want to delete and hit 'delete' on your keyboard......done.
