MMS settings for W850i

I have an unlocked SE W850i, and a Cingular/ATT sim card, and i am trying to get the correct MMS settings so i can send and receive picture messages. ive found some sites online that have the settings, however they are shown in a format and menus that my phone does not have so i do not know where to input these settings. i have also gone to the SE site and had then send the WAP setup and the MMS setup to my phone, but when i go to send or open my picture messages, i keep getting a 'download communication error'. any help or insight to this, ive tried the Cingular tech support, but the phone is apparently a UK release and they do not have it, but i was told by someone else that as long as i have the correct settings and the proper APN it wont matter.

Yes i do. i had the settings sent straigh from the SE corp page. and i also verified them with Cingular. and my phone will still not allow me to send or receive MMS messages. tells me there was a communication error and to check the settings, but the internet on my phone works perfect, so i am unsure of what to do with the settings

I have a t-mobile phone but a cingular smart card...

If the Cingular SIM card won't operate the T-mobile phone now? You'll have to have the phone "Unlocked" for it to work with your ATT/Cingular SIM Card. Some local Cell Phone Shops may provide unlocking services for a nominal fee (you'll have to call around and ask), or you can send it out to be unlocked as this service can be found by searching online, as you can see here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=cell+phone+unlocking&btnG=Google+Search

Picture messaging

what kind of sim card are you using in it now? in order to receive send pictures (other than bluetooth) you need a sim card. and if you have an att sim card in it and it is not letting you send receive picture mail, your internet is off. (we call this WAP in the industry). The easy fix:

Call ATT if you are using it on the ATT network and tell them to have the internet pay per use turned on. Then you will be able to receive MMS messages.
