Bra wire's trapped between inner and outer drum,

could be seized bearings try manually turning the drum

A quick solution is to bend a piece of wire (2 pcs), preferably a rigid hanger for example,) if they can fold back the flap gum can try to pull up underwire

Probably the rear cover is removed, remove the drum, and also use a piece of wire or other tool ... This is a typical problem for women;) can be found a few minor by the way;)

Depends where it is stuck. If near the very front you can sometimes get them by removing the door seal to gain a small access between drums. Other ways is remove the outlet pipe from the bottom of the drum or easiest and most probable area where it stuck is remove heating element. Provides a better view and bra wires normally get stuck on them.

Disconnect the machine from the power source and also disconnect the inlet hoses.

First start by opening the top hatch. You can do this by first opening the lid. there are 2 screws under plastic caps in the corners, under the lit. Open the screws.

See if you can lift the top hatch back. If not, you need to open the screws, or sometimes no. 7 bolts, in the back of the machine. These join the top hatch (plastic part) to the machine body (metal part).

When you raise the top hatch, there will be a power connection with earth wire, and a presure hose which connect to the bottom of the control panel. You can disconnect these. Take note, as you need to put them back on later.

Once you remove the top section you have clear access to the top of the drum. There is a plastic rim on top of the drum which you need to remove. Sometimes they are screwed on, and sometimes they clip into place. The old hoovers were clip on plastic. The newer hoovers are more like Simpson and have screws.

Once you remove that, look down in between the inner and outer durm and see if you can see the bra wire. If you can get to it with a long object it will be alot easier, than having to remove the inner drum. If the bra wire is free and just sitting on the base, just tilt machine to its side and with the help of a few people turn it upside down.

Removing the inner drum is a pain, and I do not suggest you do that yourself, unless you have the right tools.

However I can help you with it if you can not get to the wire. Let me know.

Hi there.....the problem could be ...(a) something traped between the inner and outer drum....usually a bra wire....(b) Debri in the drain pump can result in grinding noise...(c) CRACKED inner drum spider unit..and or failed main bearings..test for this by opening the door with appliance switched off place your hand at outter edge of inner drum and test for lift in drum..there should'nt be any lift at all

hi to remove bra wire from between drums ? you might try this 1st ? if you diconnect water supply hoses and unplug power supply then remove rear panel from machine you will have access to the large rubber drain hose from outer drum down to discharge pump ? ok hose is held by spring wire clips both ends remove clips then hose you may find bra wire either in hose or close to drum drain if you need ? feel inside drom via drain hole ? or probe with a piece of coat hang wire ? you may even find the mysterious missing sock/ thong / etc when you disconnect the hose too?? any debri has to lay in bottom of outer drum and so a little patience will locate them using this method instead of removing the main front door sealto drum for access to same area also with rear panel off you can check belt tension ? hope this helps/inspires you ? best wishes from uk

You will not see it as it is trapped between the inner and outer drum, what you need to do is remove rear panel and the large hose from the pump to the bottom of the drum,
Then reach in with your fingers and see if you can feel it , if you can't then short of removing the drum (not recommended) ther is not a lot you can do, hopefully it will find it's way into the filter, where it wiil not be a problem

you will need to call in an on site tech.but from my exp.the tub assembly would need to be replaced if you want to solve this problem.

hi there....sounds as if youve got a bra wire etc trapped between the outer and inner drum..open the appliance door and carefully examine the inner drum you will possibly see the offending wire protruding from some one of the holes in the drum...it can either be removed by juggling it out or having an engineer remove it for you regards Sir Galahad
