I lost my printer disc to my dell photo 926 printer. want to activate again.

try pushing it? try to remember how you took out the old cartridge then reverse it dell printer

There's no known compatibility issues with any Dell Printer working with a Dell Laptop.. Your printer should work fine wih your laptop.. I

f your laptop runs on Windows XP, make sure you install the printer disc.. or downlload dirver & sw from here:

if you using windows vista or 7, you can use the link above, just select the windows version from the drop down..

You should be able to download the driver and the printer application from this link at Dell. I would try reinstalling both to see if the error goes away.

You'll need to input your system details but you should be able to get the drivers you need...
