Check Filter Indicator The ability of any humidifier to efficiently supply humidity output relies heavily on the condition of the filter. As the filter loads with impurities it gradually loses its wicking capability. When this happens, moisture output is reduced and the humidifier has to work longer to satisfy the selected setting. This humidifier has a check filter reminder timed to appear after 720 hours of operation. When the Check Filter (CF) message is displayed, disconnect the power cord and check the condition of the filter. If a build-up of deposits or severe discoloration is evident replace the filter to restore maximum efficiency. The CF message is reset when the humidifier is plugged back in.
If they are only slightly bent you may be able to straighten them with a small flat screwdriver blade. If they are bent all the way down they will have to be replace - not a job for an amateur! If the two center pins are bent over and touching other pins, then there may be circuit damage - they are the power pins and touching other pins that are output pins blows part of the CF control circuit. This would require replacement of the rear circuit board, which requires programming with Canon software (which they do no supply to anyone)
looks like it's a 12V power supply. You should be able to go to Radioshack and buy a 12V DC power supply (Us in the trade sometimes call them wall worts). Take the device in with you to make sure that the plug style is the same.
It is entirely possible that the transformer assembly is not supplying power to the D.C. output anymore. This is a fault that occurs in new as well as old items. Acquire a replacement to verify this, or just replace the adapter.
You should be able to buy CF cards at just about any camera, department, electronics, or office-supply store. Some drugstores and supermarkets carry them as well.
I had the same symptoms. I took it to an authorized Canon repair shop. For $150, they resoldered connections on my 'power supply board'. No idea why the solder gave out. It's working great now.
This is an interesting problem. AMS Tech was not a manufacturer of any of their laptops, but rather resold machines from several large Taiwanese laptop vendors. This is a common practice in the computer industry, and since AMS Tech is no longer in business, it's a good thing because other brands sold the same machines that parts are available from these other sources.
Here is a list of some of the components in the laptop:

Unfortunately, it looks like the manufacturer of the 7000 series is out of business as well.
I'm afraid your best bet may be to just buy a PCMCIA modem.
Perform the following procedures if your camera does not detect a CF card.
1. Restart your camera.
- Set the camera's power switch to and remove the batteries.
- Open the CF card slot cover to make sure the CF card is securely set in the card slot.
- Insert the batteries and turn the power switch .
2. Format a CF card.
Format the CF card with your camera.
Refer to the Camera User Guide supplied with your camera for instructions on formatting your card.
3. Check if your camera detects other CF cards (If you own multiple CF cards.)
If your camera does not detect a CF card after performing the procedures 1 and 2 above, the card that wasn't detected may have a defect.
